Because this home was on the top level of a 3 unit building, we needed to be economical about what walls were removed without impacting the already occupied units below. We removed strategic walls to create a more open floor plan that didn’t result in additional structural work. We were also able to raise the ceiling to give more volume to the space, which made the unit feel even more open. The kitchen and bathroom were both renovated as well. You can also find this project on our design page as we acted as the designer on this project. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
