Bathroom Renovations

Don’t we all want a beautiful space that makes us feel clean and refreshed each morning and night? We’ve got just a few San Francisco Bay Area bathroom renovations under our belt, and we would be happy to help you bring your bathroom dreams to life. Do you need just a spruce up? We’re happy to come help. Do you have room to plumb in a new bathroom into your home? We’re ready for that as well. Don’t hesitate to reach out, we’d love to help you complete your project.

Powder room renovation
After digging out the basement of this single family Victorian home we had to install a set of stairs to get to the new 1,000SF lower level. This meant that the upper level main bathroom would have to become a powder room. In the very small space the developer let us go BOLD. So we installed a wall hung toilet, sourced dramatic wallpaper and custom designed the backsplash for the new console sink. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (NoPa, San Francisco)
Full bathroom renovation
After moving the kitchen to the front of the home, this area became the perfect space to add a full bathroom to this 2 bedroom home. Because of the layout of the room we had to eliminate a window, however we added proper venting, a double vanity, and a full wall of inverted bevel subway tile to the ceiling to help the space feel luxurious. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
Double vanity bathroom
In order to fit a double vanity in this updated master suite we had to eliminate a window as well. Again, we added proper venting, plumbed for two sinks and installed a linear drain that allowed the double shower stall to be curbless. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
Small bathroom renovation
Space was a big issue in this bathroom, so we really had to be methodical about how we used the space. Storage was a must, so we wanted to make sure we were able to install a vanity. However, because the room was so narrow a standard vanity would not fit. Instead, we repurposed a storage cabinet, installed a vessel sink and finished things off with a great bold floor tile to make the space feel just a little extra special. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
Master bathroom renovation
After digging out this ground level for full head height living space, the master bedroom was in need of a master suite! The long double vanity is the focal point of this room, while we also made sure to maximize the usable space between the window and the wall for a full size shower stall. The room was finished off with a mother of pearl floor tile and a bold charcoal herringbone shower. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (NoPa, San Francisco)
Marble tile bathroom
No one had touched this bathroom for decades – and it kind of showed. We changed the location of all the elements to create better usability of the space for a family and installed a dramatic wall of black marble tile. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (NoPa, San Francisco)
Trough sink bathroom
This bathroom definitely needed a full overhaul. After ripping absolutely everything out, we realized that the layout definitely worked with the space, but we could still work a bit of our magic. In order to get a double vanity in a pretty tight space we installed a single, large trough sink with two wall mounted faucets to save space and free up the counters. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Castro, San Francisco)
Powder bathroom renovation
Before this home got put on the market a real estate agent asked us if we could help give the powder bathroom a bit of a refresh. We changed out the floor tile and counters (sink and faucet). We worked with the vanity and gave it a new coat of paint, added some beautiful hardware and the space felt brand new! Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
New master bathroom
After working with an architect to alter the layout of the home to make it more conducive to a modern, open layout, this end of the home was in need of a master suite – so we plumbed a bathroom next to the bedroom. A double vanity fit the space nicely and a full size shower stall with tile to the 9’ ceiling helped make the room feel luxurious. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Castro, San Francisco)
Bathroom facelift
The layout of this bathroom was great, the homeowner just wanted to give it a face lift. New penny round floor tile, inexpensive oversized subway tile shower surround and a new vanity and toilet rounded out this simple remodel. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Castro, San Francisco)
Jack & Jill bathroom
Can you believe how much closing off one of the doors in this Jack & Jill bathroom did to help improve the space? Nothing moved locations, but there was finally enough room for a standard depth vanity and a full sized tub. Fixtures and tiles were replaced and this room felt 100% improved. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
Master bathroom renovation
This bathroom was in need of a lot of help. In addition to demo, tiling, etc., we also helped the homeowner improve functionality by adjusting the entrance into the room so instead of entering from the laundry room it became a true master. We also framed in a larger window to bring more light into the space. (Maxwell Park, Oakland)
Micro unit bathroom
In order for this micro unit’s bathroom to be code compliant we reversed the wall the sink was mounted on and made sure it was properly sized. Other than that, new fixtures, paint and tile went a long way to make this small bathroom feel spacious and special. Acted as Designer for the project as well. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
Powder room transformation
This powder room got a quick transformation with new paint on the vanity, a remnant piece of marble on the counter (with a new sink and faucet) and a beautiful focal wall of iridescent glass tile. A quick refresh can make a space feel brand new. (Rockridge, Oakland)
Caldwell bathroom renovation
This bathroom was very closed off with several walls separating the tub from the shower and the toilet from the entry door. Our homeowner wanted to open things up as much as possible and we obliged! We were also able to give the client symmetrical his/hers ends of the shower with a custom floating bench between the two. A window that looked out onto an interior hallway of the home was eliminated (Glen Highlands, Oakland)
Bathroom renovation with subway tile
Can you believe the washer and dryer used to be in this bathroom behind the door? That’s what made you unable to open it past 90 degrees. Rotating the stackable units so that they were now accessible from the hallway enabled two things – the door to fully open, and more wall space for a double vanity. Changing out the floor tile to a bold pattern and adding simple subway tile in the shower helped balance out the space. A quick refresh can make a space feel brand new. (Castro, San Francisco)
Rental bathroom renovation
After a tenant moved out and left the unit in shambles we stepped in to quickly turn the property around, which included inexpensively preparing this unit for tenants to move in.  (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
