This micro unit came in at 334 square feet, so we really had to flex our creativity muscles on this one! By creating a side entrance to a closet we were able to use a portion of it to tuck in a Murphy bed. This freed up more of the common space to create a living area as well. In the kitchen we were able to make a few key adjustments to the layout to even carve out a nook to install a washer and dryer! We installed glass shelving over the kitchen window to give us a 2 for 1: additional storage that didn’t block out natural light. The bathroom got a refresh with bright tile to help it feel as open as possible. We selected all the material finishes (tile, flooring, fixtures, paint colors, etc.) When the unit was ready to be sold we also staged it for sale. We also acted as the general contractor and you can find this project on our home renovation page. (Noe Valley, San Francisco)
